Many of us on the "right" coast are in the process of filling out fall haul out requests, the formal recognition (global warming notwithstanding...) of the impending end of the sailing season. I'd be curious to hear from other sailors about how many days they spend aboard their boats per season -- sailing that is; doing maintenance or just hanging out on your boat in its slip/mooring are important days, but if you count them here please indicate that as well. Also, indicate if you are liveaboard and, if so, how many days you actually got the boat moving.In my case, I mostly sail the Chesapeake Bay and typically spend 50 - 55 days per season sailing the boat. And I'm dreading the thought of my boat being high and dry in about 6 weeks or so....If you have favorite photo of your water baby, post it here, too.
