As a new user of Hunter (340) I find it difficult to set the main sail on beam reach and impossible on broad reach since the sail lean on the spreders and the riging and loose it's shape.can you gide me?
Just pull down tighter on the vang and sheet in slightly further than you would with less swept spreaders. Building boat speed, which should be no problem on a beam reach, is the key to success. A beam reach is the fastest point of sail for most sailboats so the apparent wind will move well forward and force you to bring the main in as the boat speed increases.
