Two Good ones that I recall are "White Squall" with Jeff Bridges. and secondly "The Dove" about a teen sailing solo around the world.Both worth seeing!!

No, not the silly one with Deppe, the old one (1986) with Walter Matthau made by Roman Polanski. Hard to find but very worth it.

The Seawolf

The version I saw stars Charles Bronson and Christopher Reeves. There is also an older version. Charles Bronson is captain of his own schooner named Ghost with a somewhat motley crew. They hunt seals. Chistopher Reeves and a woman companion are picked up after a sea wreck. I love the movie and wish I could find it since it's out of print.

Stuart Little

I just got done watching the scene in Central Park where Stuart Little, a mouse, has to take control of a radio controlled model sailboat because his brother's (his brother is a human) radio remote control broke. Pretty cool!

Sea Wolf

Edward G. Robinson was "Wolf" in the 1941, black and white version of "Sea Wolf". John Garfield and Ida Lupino were picked up by the Sea Wolf, if I remember correctly.
