Sailing Greece/Skiathos

I'm planning a sailing for the Sporades/Greece. Any recommendations for charter companies in Skiathos or nearby? We're planning July. Any experience with Meltemi Winds there?

We chartered a Beneteau 46 and cruised the Cyclades (w/ 3 other couples ) in late September, 2004 out of Kalamaki Marina, Athens.
Can't remember the name of the charter co.
We chose to go in late September because July and August are so incredibly hot there ... and those months are also high season for tourists.

Why charter companies in Skiathos or near there? You will most probably fly to Athens so charter a boat from Kalamaki (Athens) or Nauplio and then sail to Sporades.
Meltemi.... well it's all about getting lucky. And in July you will most probably find meltemi in your way. Just keep on the south side of the islands, have a good anchor or reef early!!
