Hi,
I've been reading this Forum for a while but until now I haven't contributed at all
I'm the other half of Cpt Jon, and on today's evening Sail we used our 150 Genoa and in the gusty wind I defiantly noticed the strain on the skin on the inside of my fingers, some old blisters and soreness, our Hunter 30 doesn't have self tailing winches like our H25.5 had and the sails are a lot bigger.
So now I wonder if I should invest in some decent Sailing Gloves or if I should simply bear with it and wait until my skin toughens up?
If so, which gloves would you recommend ? is it necessary to get special Gloves for woman?
I personally think being able to share them with Jon would be ideal.
