The Admiral likes that best photo thread the moderator has going, asks me to ask for one to visit for boat pets pics. Can you do that Sticky, here is the first contribution. 7 months old female Border Collie, guards against seagulls. Loves that walk thru stern.

Hard to believe, Ginger(dog) and grandson Mitch, over ten years ago. Ginger still plays like a pup and Mitch is over six feet. Sad to say that Ginger has not seen the boat since 2007 when we left for Florida. She loves to sail and will get reacquainted this spring.

Angus is a Westie who does not know he is a small dog or that he is 12 1/2 years old. At 21 lbs he is easy to lift up and down off a dock or seawall. His short legs give him good stability in rough weather, and he can scrunch under a dinghy seat if need be. He enjoys walking a beach, sailing, swimming and fishing but has never learned to "go" on the boat. He looks forward to his morning and evening trips to shore in the dinghy and the chance to visit with other boat dogs or sailors. Always a happy guy on a cruise he is content sleeping under our chair while we send our emails or get weather information on the computer.

Here they are on the way to Half Moon Bay. Sugar, the smaller white one, stresses out when it gets rough, but Santa - part Lab - wouldn't worry if we were sailing through a hurricane.
