I love how people claim these types are "explorers".
The first men to the Poles were explorers...
But... In modern terms this usually seems to mean: we go to places that have already been discovered and do "adventurous" things so others will pay for our lifestyle.

Why is it that a guy speaking French telling a story always seems to, in the middle of the story, flip to the philosophy discussion to rationalize the purpose of the story.
