work work work
Hello Don, So far with our shared wet spring not much got done, that and the fact that work kept me busy on saturdays. This heat wave last week was vacation time for me. I did get a lot of stuff done though. Installed a new holding tank for the forward head, our boat was from the east coast and they pumped directly out! Now it has two new heads, one new holding tank. The bad news is that aft head with the eight gallon tank stinks beyond anything i have ever wiffed! I am planning on cutting it out and figuring on puting something in there. (any suggestions?) No way to clean the 23 year old sludge out of the bottom of that sucker! Besides the new holding tank, a 1000watt inverter was the only noncleaning/waxing project so far this year. With a 2 and a 4 year old on board having the TV/VCR combo running at anchor was more than a blessing! Sailing, well so far we've only got about four good outings but they were very nice and we have the rest of the season ahead of us. One more thing, mast pumping at high winds......is there anything that can be done with this annoyance? Just when you get all the halyards tied up and quiet the mast pumps! Luckely its only when the winds are over 20 knots. howie~
