removehtml]After 7 years with our 82 H27 we are looking for a bigger boat. On the long list are the Cherubini H30 and H33. (H36 might be included but they are rare, the 37, could I but afford it.) Anyhow, what I would like to know is how the 30 and 32 handle in the the short frequency wave pattern common to Lake Erie. The 27 can give a rough ride when the four footers come in close together. How much difference would I find in the larger boats? Andy "Baroque"Error: Error: expected [/URL], but found [/removehtml] instead[/removehtml]

It's all about displacement

I enjoyed an Erickson 27' on Lake Michigan for 10 years, displacement 7,000 pounds. And now have a Hunter 33' with a displacement of 12,000 pounds. And have had the pleasure of a passage around Florida in a Whitby 42' with a displacement of 25,000 pounds. In this case more is a lot better. If you are looking for a smoother ride go longer and heavier.
