I had not planned on it but should be at my dock in Alamitos Bay by 9am. Perhapsa we could meet somewhere inside the breakwater. Call me on 72 to verify and meet.Novelman
Should be on the water by 9am. If I can get my buddy to my house by 6. Sent you my cell number. I'm not sure if my radio always works. Only tested once with coast guard. He yelled back to me that he heard me loud and clear. "Me too" I yelled back, just not over the radio. Probably next purchase.Frank
Frank,My cell number is 661 965 0394, Duane Beaver.About 10 am would be best for me. Exactly where will you be departing from and what make/size/color sailboat do you have? Mine is now a 22' Venture, white with light blue deck and dark blue strips on each side. The boat name "Novelman Too" is printed on the stern. Where in the area are the race boats departing from and at what time? I may be singlehanding since my regular sailing buddies are not available.
and blue stripe on hull. Sail number is 1019 M. Haven't decided on a name yet. There is a new lauch that I told you about across from where the Catalina Jet boats dock. Just above the Queensway bridge. Frank
Should be marked with three boats and orange floats. By the way my wife was saying that they found that solo sailor whose boat hit the jetty washed up on Catalina Island.
Does anyone know what happened in this accident? I know someone else who was out in that weather. They were in a good size Power Boat. It scared the CRAP out of them, at the time.--jerry
