Saildrive boot relacement

I have to replace the rubber boot around the leg on my yanmar sail drive but can't seem to find a applied. Catalina said to contact yanmar and yanmar dealer doesn't carry them. Also any suggestion on the type od adhesive the contact cement I tried did not work before.

I resealed (re-attached) mine using the 4200 adhesive two years ago; still holding.

Say, I'm just curious about the longevity of saildrives. Why are they made of an aluminum housing? Doesn't this pit & corrode like crazy in salt water? I assume its to save weight & cost, but I always thought it was a good thing to have weight down low for ballast. the cost savings to produce saildrives must be more then offset by the maintenance factor. Also I guess u can't use copper based ablatives as they would cause corrosion, so what do u use?
