anyone got refferal for sailboat rental in cozumel or grand cayman .We would like to rent a boat for one day with captain for open sea sailing. we look on internet didnt find anything.

I've been to Cozumel many times, mostly to scuba. But your question intrigued me, since I never saw much sailing activity. I found this website on the internet. I will check it out next time I'm there. The thing about some of these sites, is that they may come and go, so I would call or e-mail before planning a trip.

I have also been to Cozumel scuba diving and have never seen any sailing vessels for rent.
I think the problem are the currents around the island. They are very strong and I am sure the rental agencies would have to chase down boats fairly often.
Also, the island is basically surrounded by either reefs that are national parks or big surf.
BTW, unless you are going there for diving or for only a couple of days on a cruise ship, there is not really much to do. Unless you just enjoy doing nothing!
