I'm thinking of joining with another sailor to partner on ownership of a sailboat. Anyone have experience with this? Anyone have a partnership agreement they could share?
There have been lots of threads on this if you search it. I would only do it if you totally trust that your partner is truly trustworthy and fair. The two things (probably the only things) I would put in an agreement are 1) all expenses are shared equally by the partners, and 2) if either partner wants out at anytime for any reason, he can get out and he will be bought out by the others for the set price in the agreement.
