We just returned last night from our two-and-a-half day trip to Half Moon Bay and back. As you can see from the photo, the dogs had an absolutely horrible time of it.

Did the dogs say it was "rough! rough!" or am I "barking" up the wrong tree? . If you had a cat they might have thought it "purrrrrfect"weather.

peeing on board
In reply to Phil - actually, my dogs made me ferry them to shore; they refuse to do their business on board. I've tried everything. I put down a piece of carpet and covered it with the ground cover we have in our front yard. I even made sure to pick up some of the ground cover that they had just pee'd on. It didn't work. I tried setting the example myself; they ignored me. I suppose if I'd just not taken them ashore, that eventually they'd break down and do it on the deck, but I'm too weak for them.
