I'm ordering a new main for my 9.2A. they are asking for rig measurements. Unfortunately, the mast is down and in storage and I can't get to it. Can anyone help me with the following measurements. My boat is a 1978 vintage and I believe the sail is the original, if it matters:
Tack Cut Back (Aft face of Mast to center of tack Pin
Tack Cut Up (Top of Boom to Center of tack Pin
Clew Cut Up (Top of Boom to Center of Tack Pin
Clew type (slug, outhaul car or ring with strap)
Vessel Backstay Measurement (from back of mast to backstay at boom level)

The best thing to do is lay out the old one and get your measurement from that. Then you will know it is correct. I pulled the fallowing measurements from the internet. S2 9.2
LOA 28'
I 40'
J 13'
P 34'
E 12.3'

Yeah, the sailmaker already has the the basic sail I P J and E specs., but that's not what I was asking for. I may yet resort to getting the needed dimensions off the old sail, but the sailmaker recommends you not measure your old sail, due to wear and stretch, etc.

I hate to say it, but you really should measure your own boat and do it with the rig up. If I measured mine you would be relying that my rig tune is correct...that they attached my gooseneck in the exact same location as yours...etc...
