I presently have a UK sail for my main and it needs replaceing so i was wondering what would be a good sail to go with.

Doyle is good

I had a fine experience with Doyle Sails through this website. Very patient through the measuring process, and the sails came out exactly right. More to the point, they're high quality and reasonably priced. Go back to the home page and go under Chandlery and then go under Sail Loft.

Choices!

David, I have bought UK sails as have my friends. I also have bought Rolly Tasker Sails from The Sail Warehouse and liked their quality also. It pays to research. Practical sailer has been doing a two part review on sails and most are priced closely. Also depends on usage, where you intend to sail? Cruise? Race? or both. Heavy weather passagemaking? Just food for thought Alan

Light Air

David Having sailed And raced Pickwick Lake It's not who but what sail they make. It will be more important that the sail is made for the conditions that you have there. Have had good sails from north and UK. Make sure that your sailmaker understands the conditions that you sail under. Now that I have moved south the main has gone fron 2 reefs to 4. The 155 stays in its bag. My main was made by north Chicago for Pickwick. Rooke Sails in Memphis was always of great help to me when I was in that area. Hope this helps.
