Sail Replacement

Question: Has anyone replaced their sails yet?
If so, what did you replace it with and what did you do with the old one?
We are talking about replacing our head sail as the boat is 14 years old and still has original dacron on both. Boat has only been sailed in freshwater. We do not club race ..Just the occasional ...

Got a Quantum Genoa

It got down to a choice for me between the Quantum or one from Somerset Sails in upstate NY. Both were good deals (~$1700). The Quantum has been good, but I wonder about the Somerset one as it was a unique cut as it had slabs on the top with a radial cut at the bottom. Looked like it would hold its shape.

I am seriously considering a 6.5 oz 135% headsail from Doyle to replace our 14 year old Catalina original head sail, the sail would be "Dacron" and the All included price with discounts (numbers,leech & luff line,bag,stripes,suncover,ties) is 2K. We have bought Doyle Sails from the Detroit loft previously and have had great experience especially with the customer service.
