I live in NYC, and want to deliver my two sails to someone who will do minor repairs, clean, and store them. I haven't had any luck finding such a place and don't know where else to look? Any advice?

Try the Doyle loft in Huntington Station. They did a great job on my UK sails. They are also within walking distance of the LIRR, if you want to take the train out.

Sailcare
I am a fan of SailCare in Denver, Pa. Did a great job on my main and jib that were in terrible shape. came back looking like new.

Negative note
The previous owner sent his sails off to be cleaned and refurbished on my '92 H30'er. He wasn't too happy, the sail looked clean and I think they got it crisp again (possible recoated) but the sails shrank considerably. A friend a few slips away sent his in and got the sail back with missing sail slugs and sail slug shackles bent. I do not know company names and just mentioned this as a way of showing there could be some downside to the process.
