I have to repair a main sail that was damaged in a demasting. The luff is the major problem but it also has a couple of minor tears too. Also need to replace the UV cover on the genoa. Since I am having to replace the mast, standing rigging and furler, I'm running out of money for sail replacement. The sails (aside from what I described) seem to be in pretty good shape.

Looking for MIDWEST area sail repair shop recommendation Thanks

In our area of Lake Erie there are several good sail lofts. My main is a North so I take it to them. Doubtless there are less expensive avenues but I am not sure where. I did recommend to a friend that he send an old sail to Sailcare( http://sailcare.com/ ). It came back looking like new for about $200. But I don't know if they do major repairs(like your picture).

Doyle has a sail loft in Chicago and they do very good work. You UPS them the sails and they quote and fix them, then ship them back. I'm sending my jib in this winter, which they previously repaired, to get new sumbrella put on it.
