Hi
I need to replace my mainsail in my Catalina 27, 1977 standard rig. I believe that my current sail is original. Where do you suggest I order one from? I have local quotes ranging from $1200 to $1800 and I have seen e bay companies selling mainsails for a little as $700?

Where have you purchased in the past and where you pleased with the quality and price. :confused:

Check out a local sail maker close to you. May be a little more expensive but the service will be worthwhile

We did settle on a local sail-maker, as he is meeting me at the boat to take measurements. A friend who ordered from afar, had to take 15 trips to his boat to fill out the paperwork to order from some off sore company, a real pain. We are paying a little more but are sure we will have a quality product as it has a 60 day return policy after the first sail and a two year warranty.
