Sail numbers for a Widgeon

Can anyone with sail numbers on their Widgeon, tell me how tall? In inches? I'm restoring our 1966 Widgeon for our Grand Daughter. Getting close to finishing, found the sail emblem. Want to add the sail numbers.

I think I used 10" numbers on the sail for my 1970 WIDGEON, maybe 12"?
But 10" is the size mentioned in the Class Rules as the minimum size, I've had a lot of fun reading those Rules, never would have believed there even were "Class One-Design" Rules for the Widgeon Class until I scored a pile of old O'DAY info from a former Distributor!

My 1975 O'day Widgeon sail number 3833 had 10" numbers. They were originally ironed on (I didn't read the fine print in the instructions about sewing them on) and long ago blew away. But the "shadow" imprints on the sail are still there.

Mine were self-stick, peel and apply.
