I have the original main on her, dont have a spec on the sail though. I would say it was the original buyers intended usage or preference. a number of reasons for slightly higher aspect. I can say for a bit of a tender boat the c.b. that is, it makes it a little more the same, more fun too! for smaller bodies of water where surface wind can be blocked some, its very sweet. dont have to use it you know ,could send up a standard main. but....that would fall into the "size matters" issue. I have a 1st reef and 2nd reef the 1st kinda offsets the extra sail for the boat if ya wanto level out a spell. Neil Pryde manf. these sails for O'Day, they would surely have this archived at probably an east coast local if they have one.
