Re: Is Practical Sailor worth the price?
Practical Sailor is a great resource. The printed material is sometimes short on details, but as a subscriber you get access to the oneline versions that will go into more detail. I have the site hooked up to my email via RSS and will get a notice when new info comes out.
I agree that it is definitly the Consumer Reports of the boating world and you will not find one ad in it.
Good Old Boat is also my favorite. Sail was not talking to me at all once I brought a boat. It was fine for daydreaming before I brought a boat and is good for long plane rides, but I dont think I ever got all of the ones I subscribed for. I only buy those types of boating mags as the store.
Besides, why subscibe to magazine like Sail when there is this forum and website which I visit everyday. This is really the type of information I am looking for.
