Was wondering if anyone has the dimensions for the 23.5 sails. Mind you not what the size of the sails provided but what the rig will accommodate. Dave I was glad to see your injury did not affect your lack of typing skills.

Rigs May Be Different

Not sure what your intention is but the best way to be assured of the correct answer is to measure your own boat because 1) if you are not the original owner things might have been changed or 2) something may have been changed in the original production run. There is no guarantee that any two boat rigs of the same model are exactly the same. Some other things to check: 1. Maximum roach capability 2. Sheeting angles for jib (some genoa tracks may be of a different length) 3. Jib tack may have changed due to change in furler For comparison, the factory design dimensions are located at: a) SailboatOwners.com main page - select "Boat Information" tab and click on "Model Information" on the pull-down tab. b) Click on "[boat model]" in left column c) Click on "[boat model] specifications" There have been cases where people have ordered sails based on certain published dimensions and later it was found that the actual dimensions were different. For what it's worth, on my boat the factory furnished sails were pretty much the most sail one could put up, hoist wise.

Thanks

I thought it was here somwhere but could not find it last night. I could get another 6-8" of sail on my mast and 4' on the boom. I was also thinking of a spinnaker.

Four feet!

Four feet on the boom! Rick that sounds like you've got a mighty long boom. The normal main is 25'8" luff and a 10' foot. The jib measurements are I = 25'6" and J = 8'6". These are the same specs as listed here on the site. I found my 1993 H235 fit these specs exactly. I'm not sure if my original main was cut too short in all directions to make up for stretch or if the sail shank over the 7 years the previous owner had it. The new sail is cut to fit those dimentions and it fits great!
