I want to put a CDI furler on my O'Day 25. My working jib looks to be 100 years old but my 135 genoa looks almost new. I'd like it converted to fit the CDI. There are so many outfits on the net that I can't figure out which one to send my sail to. Which one gets your highest rateing???

I would check with the Doyle loft represented in the Chandelry on this site. They provided a competitive quote on a similar conversion for me this spring.

Tom...try Anson/North Sails in Greenland...

Right down the street from you on 33 toward ...well..Greenland! They'll sew the correct tape on your sail for the CDI. Cheers, Bob

Local Sail Loft?

In addition to the outfits on the net, you might see if any of your local sail lofts will do the work. With shipping, etc., they might be cost competitive, and I personally like to do business with locals if I can. I used a local loft (affilated with Doyle) when I had my jib converted for furling.

Hey Tom...

You also have a local sailmaker just over the downtown bridge on your left going into Kittery, right across from the sub shop and next to the lobstah/fried clam place...Mmmm...lobstah... Cheers, Bob
