oday 25 Lake Tahoe
I recently purchased a 1976 ODay 25 with the original sails. Main and 110 jib.
I will be sailing on Lake Tahoe and I would like to know what size jib would be best for this lakes conditions, usually 0-08 in the am and 15-25 in the pm

I bought a brand new main for my 77 last year and also bought a slightly used 145% jib. As Stu suggested, had to move the blocks back a bit for that to work well. I would really think about replacing that 38 year old main in addition to the jib...

Thanks , this is where I am headed. This lake gives a little of everything. The head sail I guess will be replaced with a 135 ? And a roller furling system. Any suggestions ? I agree the main will also get the boot. Any suggestions on a sail loft?

I got my main at Sail Warehouse. LINK They probably have a main for your 25 in stock, they did for mine. Appears that they do from a search. Full batten main for $725 plus shipping. Yes, they are made in China by Rolly Tasker and are Dacron sails but, for our old boaties they are just fine. The have a package deal for furling headsail as well. But hey apparently do not have anything in stock currently. Can always give them a call.

I know people will rain on this heavily as these are "Evil Chinese" sails but.... they do the job well and are a good value. My main fit perfectly and I am eventually thinking of going with one of their furling packages. Do your research and you will be fine.

My 17 cents worth of info.
