Sail/boom stop

[S/V Kittiwake]

We just purchased a 1977 30' Catalina with an external sail track. The boom/sail stop is broken and I cannot find anything on line about it. It is a two part connected together with a bolt, that goes on either side of the boom/sail track. has anyone ever seen one of these and where I can get a replacement or something else?

Can you possibly post a picture of the sail track & boom configuration? Not sure what you mean by a external sail track. Otherwise I would suggest contacting Catalina Direct for advice, & they likely have a replacement part.
