Make my own, out of older otherwise unuseable sail material..

Mine came from Hunter. They are Nylon, I think. But as Squid said, you can make your own or have someone sew them up for you. Put a small pocket around the opening and put in a tie cord to cinch them closed. You can have a small "handle strap" sewn on the bottom to ease carrying.

My last boat came with nylon sail bags but I've also used nylon duffel bags on earlier boats.... the kind you find in the sporting goods section at WalMart for $15-ish. That worked great and I kept a small repair kit in the zipper pocket that was sewn on the outside of the duffel bag.

Good point.... You looking for one to store the sail between size changes or one to cover and protect while rigged/hanked on...?

laundry bag from $1 Store. I'm sure that one made of Sunbrella would look better and be much more sailor-like.

Whatever works Lloyd! I have an A-4 bag and a sea bag that have both served as sail bags.
