Why a bag for outdoor storage on the forestay? Why not simply roll it up or fold it up, which will help add more years of life to a sail? Sails are expensive...rolling them up helps them keep their shape and increase their life span. A sail bag adds a cool factor, but a nice looking (crumple-free) sail gives you the ultimate cool factor!

no folding. you stuff it in the bag.... there is only two reasons to fold or roll a sail, its because they are racing sails and you cant stand to have a wrinkle in them, or for long term storage of newish sails....
