Has anyone installed an attachment point for a safety teather? I have a 1992 H28 and would like to have a strong anchor point in the cockpit to hook my teather into. Any suggestion on the type of hardware and the location? Thanks.

U-bolts

One on the pedastal post and one on a bow pulpit post, with a West Marine flat red jackline running up the middle of the boat. I tether the 4-four blue line to that, and can't fall off the boat as a result.

Jacklines

Safety teathers need to be able to move forward. Jacklines make it possible to move around the boat without unclipping. Teathers are really not needed in the cockpit. Make sure a sharp single hand opening knife is attached to the safety harness. If someone goes overboard and is dragged by the boat they could wind up drowning while if they can't release from the boat.
