Safety railings

Hello lads,
I'm looking for any suggestions , I purchased a1974 venture17 . I see the other models have the bow pulpits and some with stanchions , I'm jealous, because this is my first sailboat and I need some safety stuff on it in case my son fall overboard when he's around the bow area. So here's the questions, any place where I can get those stuffs? Or get it made? Appreciate all the advice and infos.

Hunt around craigslist and ebay. Those items don't necessarily have to come from a venture as long as the footprint of the item you want to mount actually fits on the available space your boat.

You are near the coast - no boat bone yards out there???

as topcat said -- look for a breaker - the cost new would probably be more than your boat is worth.
