Below is a question that I asked Hunter Owners Forum. I have not had any response after 77 viewings. Can anyone else help me, please. QUESTION: "Can anybody provide me with an unbiased testemonial as to the effectiveness of Safe Boat Skin as an alternative to conventional anti foul. It seems too good to be true if you believe what the manufacturers say on www.safeboatskin.com"

Answer on product website

From the website: Question: Is SaƒeBoatSkin® an antifouling product? Answer: No, not in when looking at it traditionally or from a legal perspective. SaƒeBoatSkin® does not contain biocides and/or active substances which destroy or fight organisms. SaƒeBoatSkin® provides a.o. a smooth as glass surface, which prevents almost all dirt from sticking.

need another response

This was not the response I wanted. I already know what the manufacturers say. I am looking for someone who has used the product and can give me their opinion.

self-interest

Why would you expect the product to provide an adequate alternative to anti-fouling, when those selling it CATEGORICALLY state it’s NOT? After all, commercial products rarely measure up to their advertised claims, and almost never exceed them. Does the legal principle of a “statement against self-interest” ring a bell? It’s generally considered prima facie evidence of a truthful statement.

No Response?

Just by getting no response should answer your question. You asked for unbiased testimonials and there are none! *cry

Expensive

It's very expensive and they don't say anything about how long it lasts. People on this board will not throw $$$$s at something that hasn't been proven. You can be the first. Let us know how it performs for you.
