We were messing around Bayou Lacombe on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain and this old beauty of a Morgan 38 (?) came drifting by. she had been abandoned and stripped of any identifying numbers and was just drifting along in the bayou. The Wildlife and Fisheries guys towed her and tied her up after we called them to investigate.. No engine or winches.. HIN was ground off .. we couldn't find any evidence of the documentation numbers.. Probably a Katrina victim that someone had taken on as a project and then realized that it was more a career than a project.. Sad to see her this way.
