2020 will mark the 50th anniversary of Sabre Yachts. Even though Sabre is no longer producing sail boats, they are still an active boat builder here in Maine.

Recently, Sabre acquired hull # 001. It is a 1970 Sabre 28 and their first boat. Spies tell me it is going thru a detailed overhaul and conservation. It is planned for display in 2020, so if you are interested watch for announcements for the where and whens..

Although I might be accused of being biased having owned 2, I'd have to agree Roger Hewson and Jim Taylor designed some nice sailing boats.
