Does anyone know if S2 replacement decals are available anywhere? I just acquired a 7.3 S2 from Brainerd, MN and would like to replace the port/starboard S2 decals and the companionway plexiglass panel S2 decal. My e-mails to S2/Tiara says they are 'undeliverable so I called Tiara and left messages but received no response.

your best bet is to have them made at a local sign shop ....and i dont think s2 cares 1 iota .......there is letter that is 13 pages long that you may want to read... it reminds me of a letter about some ones x wife that they no longer wish to discuss...... lol.....it may be in the archives on this site ....oh and welcome to the forum...

I thought of having them made up by a sign shop but then thought if S2/Tiara were still using them, they might have some available for owners of their product. S2/Tiara is supposedly still in business but they make no effort to fix their 'contact us' e-mail problem or respond to voice mail messages left on their phone. I have seen their 13 page document, effectively distancing themselves as far as possible from any connection to their previous sailboat building division - it seems a shame - with the hundreds of S2's out there in the world - it would be good for them, if not just for PR reasons, to support the folks who helped make their company thrive in the '70's and '80's. Oh well! Talk to you again.

If you want manufacturer's support after 25 years you should have bought a Hunter or a Catalina! Seriously though, Woodster is right, a good sign shop should be able to run them off for you for under $100 in any color vinyl you choose.

If you decide to go the sign shop route, maybe us S2 owners could get in on it and share the order and expense - there should be a big discount for multiple orders if you send out an all-hands email to us for our order - and check!.. Capt Ray

I own an S 2 8.5 and md some decals. How many are you looking for? Mine does not have any horizontal lines just the S2 stacked logo. I have made some extras.
