S Rudder Reference Installation

Installed rudder reference unit this evening in my H31 with assistance. For those of you who might be installing soon, please be aware that the center or middle of this unit is not where it stops. There are two marks at the rear which must be aligned prior to mounting. The center would place the cable directly towards the rear.We installed this evening on my 1983 H31. I will try and take some photos for a later post.Greg W

Not too bad once you figure it out!

Greg:It is not too difficult once you figure it out yeh!I am in the process of finishing up my installation this weekend. Hopefully it will be ready to roll for the Memorial Day weekend.

I think I would have mounted the sensor to the ...

Greg:I think that I would have mounted to rudder sensor to the cockpit sole rather than the cowling. It would have been a lot easier to work on it if you need to make any adjustments or diagnosis any problems. Hopefully your setup will work just fine. Good luck. Let me know how it works. I am trying to finish my installation up this weekend.
