Has anyone used this on their deck or cockpit? Any opinions?

Rustoleum has marine paints that are supposedly pretty good. But if I had a 31 footer that was in good shape, I'd stick with name brand marine paint and not cheap-out. I say this because my boat is a 25 foot trailerable with plenty of good ol' Yankee ingenuity keeping her afloat and making way. I would have no problems cheaping-out and putting Rustoleum on mine.

I haven't thought about it in a great while, but years back, I had an older Sunnyfish that looked like it had been drug across Dead Mans Reef a dozen times. Not wanting to throw a lot of bucks at this little day project, I ended up with Rustoleum topside paint. Painted with a cheap brush only, it's fair to say it didn't flow just the way I would have liked. A drop of thinner, a better brush, rolling it on first, ALL would have probably produced a better result.
However, I too was not really gentle with Sunnyfish. Being more oriented at the big boat, I sailed this little boat HARD. And up on the banks or whatever else happened to be in front of a mean tack. Carried it back in forth in the back of a steel floored pick-up truck.
Now I skinned it here and there. Hell, I probably would have gouged it had it been made of stainless. But for the most part, really, that paint held up very well. Underwater even..

I used it on my little Rhodes Bantum and found it to be great! The white topdeck is very bright. It goes on easy and dries nicely. The boat was a bargain buy and I used regular Rustoleum for the hull as I wanted fire engine red. I used a sponge roller and mixed in a bit of Penetrol for a smoother finish.
Same here....I used a short nap roller and 10% Penetrol...still looks nice and shiny after 2 years on the flat surfaces but tends to abrade on the ridges of the non-skid parts.
I was about to add another coat but it seems that Lowes does not carry it in California any more !

I used Rustoleum Topside when I painted the hull of my Force 5. I sprayed on 2 coats. First coat looked like crap but that was due to not having the correct amount of thinner and the spray gun not set right. The second coat went on beautifully. I didn't even bother with buffing since it went on so smooth. Seems to have dried fairly hard and hasn't scratched or chipped. I am sold on Rustoleum marine paints. I also bought their bottom paint for my c22.
I had to order mine from Amazon since my Lowes did not stock it. I could have had Lowes order it but wasn't any cheaper by the time they added shipping and tax.
I know it sounds crazy, but I'm a home builder and have experimented with some of the new Acrylic floor enamels. I was so impressed by how some acrylic floor paints held up, I decided to try Rustoleum Acrylic Porch and Floor enamel on my 50 year old solid fiberglass decks.
I'm happy and have since used it on the cabintop(fiberglassed plywood). It's tough stuff, much more so than oil based one part paints. Self priming, easy application, cheap.

Has anyone used or seen it used the roll on or spray on truck bed liner? Seem like this would be a pretty tough non skid treatment and it comes in a pretty good variety of colors.

I've been really impressed with the acrylic porch and deck paints. I've used the ACE brand with good success.
One thing on the Rustoleum. It's good paint, but had very poor results with their Spar Varnish- was already cracking and peeling within 6 weeks, and yes it was a properly prepared surface.

The truck stuff I have seen has two potential problems in that they spray it and it is a bit to aggressive to the point or removing skin

Beautiful boat and picture too. And the short crew member looks pretty happy.
