The other day while cleaning the very grundgy bilge on my new (to me) 1975 Hunter 25, I removed one of the keel bolt brackets with the pressure of the sponge. Upon further inspection I find that the other brackets are in only slightly better condition. I think that I can get new brackets fabricated (or sledge hammer them out myself) bed them in 5200 and rebolt. Does anyone have experience with this? Will this work? Thanks for your help.
