Who says the Russian Navy can never rise again! A few of you gents have asked me about our sunken Russian sub in Providence Harbor, so here's the latest. Much like Harrison Ford's career, K19 poked it's head out of the water yesterday and it looks like she will live again. Here is a like to the story, enjoy.... BaySailerBill

Russian Sub in Providence Harbor ?

OK........ well my question is, "How in the hell did it get there in the first place ?" Now I'm an inland sailor, and not real knowledgeable about tides, but I'm sure it didn't drift in on high tide ......... or, well, thye do build things "different" as we do ..... maybe it did ! It was brought in as a museum piece and sunk during a storm due to pump failure.
