Can anyone suggest a good book or does anyone have a diagram of rigging for a Hunter Cherubini 25 1976 sloop. I am about to place my refurbished Cherub.(bought it in a charity) in a slip but I have been a catamaran sailor in the past and though it may seem simple to most of you folks out there, I need instructions on how to rig my 25 sloop. Any suggestions appreciated. FYI I learned alot on this site and brought my boat back to life via many of your suggestions, thank you!

Are you sure?

Are you sure you mean running rigging? The running rigging is the halyards, sheets, vangs, topping lifts, and downhauls. There wouldn't really be any serious difference from what you are accustomed to on your cat. If you are concerned about the standing rigging (stays and shrouds), the Hunter manuals seem to have covered these fairly well. Craig

Running rigging, yes indeed.

Yes, the running rigging on the cat was certainly more simplistic. Although the cat had a sloop rig, it did not have other accoutriments. It had a basic boom vang in the back, no winches, two simple jib sheets that tied off and two ropes to haul the sails up. The hunter being at least 10 feet bigger seems to have organizers for lack of sailing jargon that organize the jib sheets along the length of the boat, pulleys down on the starboard and port decks, pulleys at the base of the mast, and four winches, two on the cabin at the entrance and two on each side of the cockpit. I know this setup seems simple to the many afficianados out there but if someone would be so kind as to provide me a schematic or path of ropes, I would appreciate it, thanks.
