Running rigging.. splices n such

Hi,
I am attempting to order some running rigging, hopefully from my livingroom here.

I am going to switch out my halyards which were wire/rope to all cordage and no wire.

I have found the lengths and line types suggested by Steve Birch in previous posts, but it seems I will need some splicing and shackles put on as well. I think this is done at the time of ordering.

Can anyone help me out with this?

What type of splices and shackles will I be needing and need to specify?

I ordered the line and spliced the shackles on myself a few years ago. They've held up extremely well. In 3 years, this is the first year where I'e seen that I need to re-do the whipping on the jib halyard. New line is comparatively easy to splice.
