Hi guys, first post here. I recently bought a 1987 hunter legend 40 and the running rigging is pretty beat up. I was wondering if anyone has the standard running rigging specs for this boat? It does not appear any customizations were made so I assume it is factory specs. Appreciate the help and thanks in advance!

Different model boat, but ours varies, but includes mostly double braid in assorted sizes from 7/16" to 1/2" halyards and 1/2" for reefing and sheets. .
A lot has change in cordage since that manual was published. And boat builders didn't/don't equip their boats with the best cordage. I'd take a different approach. OP could define the characteristics of a line such as yield strength, stretch, size, uv resistance, abrasion resistance etc and choose the cordage that best fits. It's more effort but that's how you get more engaged with your boat.
