As a result of all the great responses from Cat. owners that we received to our article on "That boat won't point", it appears we have just purchased a 1979 Catalina 30. I would like to run the main and jib halyard lines aft to the cockpit. Can anyone give me info. on if they moved the lines into the mast and where they installed the hardware on the cabin top ? Thank you for all the help ! Jerry and Janet S/V Defiance

Here's a C-30 site that you'll love. I just bought my boat this year & I've found it to be very useful. Check out the link below for ideas on running your halyards aft. Also, now that you've chosen a Catalina, you should know about some great resources: 1. Catalina Yachts - Excellent service, most parts still available from the factory 2. International C-30 Association 3. Garhauer Marine - running rigging upgrades 4. Catalina Direct - Misc. parts for the C-30 As a new owner I am continually amazed at all of the resources that are still available for my 1977 C-30. I'm sure you'll have the same experience & I'd like to say welcome to the C-30 family & the very best of luck with your new boat!!
