Boom Lines
I assume you have the Isomat boom and mast common to the 35? There is a large opening at the aft end of the boom. You should be able to stand the boom upright (remove it first) with the jam cleat end up and standing on a step ladder let the line just fall through the boom and out the other end. You wight want to tie a short fishing line and fishing weight to the line to keep it straight while dropping it through.Whenever I replace a line I just use heavy waxed sail twine ( very strong) and sew the two ends of the lines together. It would be very hard to break the joint but sometimes it is too stiff to easily run through a sheave so you have to be carefull not to bind it too tightly.Best regards,DaveO'Day 35
