Does anyone know a good source to find replacement lenses for my green/red running lights. Im trying to avoid replacing the whole assembly if I can as they work fine. Its just the lenses have faded. Sources for both options would be appreciated.Thanks

You don't say what kind of light it is... however, it probably dosn't really matter & probably IS available. I've found that on stuff like this, if you call WEST marine & give them the part no., they may have it in stock, & if they don't they can order it from the mfg for you & have it drop shipped directly to you.Be prepared though, last summer, one of my crew dropped the lens from bow light overboard & I had to order a new lens. It was pretty pricey compared with the cost of simply buying the whole light.Your experience & cost may be different depending on the exact mfg & size of the light.--Craig CoffmanWinds of Change

They are Perko

I have 79 H27 my lights are on the side with access from anchor well. They were faded I found the replacement lens and socket were Perko brand. If you want to replace the whole unit exactly use Perko its easer than using some cheap junk and make it fit. I get some parts @ west Marine but also try Boats US special order desk. They will locate the right parts or give the Phone # .

Same Problem, Same Light, Hunter 25

I had the same problem several years ago. These are Perko Lights (to my knowledge this style is no longer in production) which, as pointed out by John Geiger, can be special ordered through Boat US. However, a local store had them in stock and, at the time, had several sets of lenses in stock (don't remember the price but they came as a set of both the red lens and the green lens). I am enclosing the store's name and address, in case you run into any problems with Boat US (I had no luck at all with our local West Marine). I have a 1979 27' Hunter like John's. JSI in St. Petersburg FL. did carry the Perko lights for this boat. They still may. Their website is www.sailnet.com GOOD LUCK Randy
