I am not sure what the rules are on this site. Are there things we are not allowed to discuss on here even if they are sailing related? I asked what were the maritime rules or regs on the things that people use the fire a projectile in self defense (I don't know if that is a word that is banned or what). Any how my post disappeared. Any help?

If you need information about firearms laws in other states/countries Google would be a good bet. In forums, a question about guns on boats quickly turns into a debate about gun control... or worse.
