Rudder

I own a 1987 Hunter 265 sailboat and need a bolt and bushing and cap that connect the tiller to the rudder shaft. The part on my boat now has Schaefer marked on it. Hunter informed me that no parts wwere available for this boat.Only a single bolt supports my rudder. Two years ago my single bolt failed and my rudder fell in the mooring field. A diver recoved the rudder Has anyone had a similiar experiece or can help?

I also own a 1987 hunter 26.5 and am aware of how difficult it is getting to find parts.You might try "Torresen.com." It is where I keep my boat. They have been in the sailboat bis.for years and have a lot of old pieces and parts lying around.
