has anyone had to replace their rudder? does anyone know of a good after market rudder manufacturer or distributor? I need to replace my rudder on my 1985 28.5 because of excess moisture. any reply would be appreciated.
Sam, I rebuilt the rudder on my 285 two years ago for the same problem. It cost me about $300 to do and a lot of time. However, I heard the Foss Foam Products of Florida supplies replacements for Hunters. Their web site is at http://www.newrudders.com Good luck!
You can buy one through this web site HOW now sell's these rudder's and they are fantastic and better then OEM. I will soon be posting pictures of my new rudder installed. Cliff
