Several months ago I requested and received several postings on replacing the rudder on my Hunter 31. I took several photos of the old rudder and have posted them in the Hunter mid-size boats photo forum.
Dave: I found them. You posted in the H'31 Photos. You may want to post them in the Photo Forum too. That was ugly. How much did the entire project cost (rudder, freight etc.). This will be a good reference for the next sailor.
be sure to try your emergency tiller on the new rudder. It appears my new rudder had slightly thicker tubing wall and I had to modify the emergency tiller to fit. Glad I checked it before I really needed it. Barry
