Rudder repair

Hi all, I posted a photo of my rudder in the photo album titled rudder 1707. My question is "what if anything should I do about this?" It appears that there is water intrusion. Not quite sure if this is common or uncommon. History- at some point in the past the rudder shaft was repaired and the exterior was epoxy coated. Not sure if that is apropos to this situation. 1707 " Shiva" was my old boat. I removed the rudder and rebuilt it after finding a crack all the way down the shaft housing. Howard. Sent from my iPad

Thanks for the reply. The drips emanating from the rudder skin is not a concern?
